In these heaters resistance wire is spirally wound around a fiber core and enwrapped with electrical grade soft silicon rubber insulation. As the silicon insulation has high temp resistance these heaters provide a good temperature working range from – 40 to 150 deg C with Power density upto 40 watts/m. Being highly flexible, high temp resistance, good insulation resistance these heaters find wide application range of home appliances, medical treatment, health protection, cosmetology equipment etc. Since silicon insulation does not catches fire, it extinguishes fire by itself these heaters will not smoke or exit poison gas and can be used where strict fire proofing is required.
